Thank you! Thank you!

Thanks to all teens who took the time to fill out our teen services survey. We had some great suggestions and feedback. We hope to put your ideas and suggestions into action soon!

If you have any more suggestions, we'd love to hear them. Stop by to talk to me, the Teen Librarian, or visit our next meeting of the Teen Advisory Board (we plan events, talk about ways to improve the library for you, and have snacks!) on November 19th at 2:30pm.

New hit titles in the Teen Area

  • Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo- The author of Shadow and Bone returns to the world of the Grisha with an even darker story. A group tries to pull off an unthinkable heist.

  • Illuminae by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff- You've probably read books in diary format, maybe even in letter format...but have you read a book written in hacked documents, military files, and electronic communication? Illuminae is something new altogether- set in the distant future with inter-planetary wars, plagues, and action- this book has it all.

  • The Rose Society by Marie Lu is the next book in the Young Elites series.

  • The Sword of Summer (Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard) by Rick Riordan- Fans of Percy Jackson and Riordan's other works will love his new series following Magnus Chase and dealing with Norse mythology.

  • Carry On by Rainbow Rowell- Rowell fans rejoice! Rowell brings to life the characters in her popular novel Fangirl's fanfiction.
Coming soon...the release date is almost here!
  • Soundless- a new stand-alone by Richelle Mead author of the Vampire Academy series!

  • Winter by Marissa Meyer (Lunar Chronicles #4)
