Just a
reminder that the teen photography contest at the library will be continuing up
until May 15th at 5:00pm so you still have time to submit your
entry! Contest rules can be found at the library, on the library website, Teen
Blog, or Facebook page.
Teen Resume & Job
Searching Workshop
Need
help perfecting your resume or tips on how to start writing one and activities
to add to it? Looking for a summer job or volunteer experience? Stop by the
Southwick Public Library on May 12 at 3:30pm to learn about resume writing and
job searching. Open to any interested teens. Please call the library at
413-569-1221 ext. 3 for more information! The workshop will be led by a career
counselor.
Teen Advisory Board
Stop by
our next meeting of the Teen Advisory Board at the Southwick Public Library.
Help us brainstorm events for teens, create book displays, write book reviews,
plan community service projects, and more. The TAB counts for community service
hours. Open to teens in grades 7-12. No registration required, just show up!
Our next meeting is Monday, May 18th at 3:00pm. This month we’ll
talk about summer reading, events for June, and creating a new book display.
Teen Lounge
Join us
for our monthly meeting of the Teen Lounge Wednesday, May 27th at
2:30pm. We’ll have the Wii set up, games, and snacks.
